Padel – The Fastest Growing Sport in the World!

DOE are now bringing their many years of experience in tennis and sports surfacing to the fast growing sport of padel. Padel is played on an enclosed court 20m x 10m. The walls are made of toughened glass and galvanised steel and the court sits on a concrete ring beam with a tennis court type base construction.

The court is finished in sand-dressed carpet. Courts can be floodlit using the latest LED technology and there are a variety of colour schemes and options available.

We also take care of planning permission as part of our service to support your padel project from design to completion.

What is Padel ?

Padel is a fun, sociable game played as doubles. It can be played indoors or outdoors and courts can be covered with a canopy. Scoring is similar to tennis with the ball being played over a net however the ball can bounce off the walls like squash. This leads to longer rallies and more involvement from all 4 players.

Padel is considered easier to learn than tennis and great fun!

PADEL – PRODUCT OPTIONS

Padel courts can be a standard posted design or can have full width ‘panoramic’ glass end walls. Great for a show court.

Standard Posted Panoramic Canopy Covered Smart Access System Maintenance Padel Software Additional Options

A standard posted court fabricated from galvanised steel with 10mm or 12mm toughened glass panels. LED floodlights are standard to offer a high quality light with low energy use and long life.

Courts can be finished in a choice of powder coated colours. DOE have extensive experience of sports carpets and can offer a choice of specification including fibrillating or monofilament in a choice of colours including blue, green and terracotta red.

A panoramic court is fabricated from galvanised steel with 12mm toughened or toughened laminated glass panels. The end walls do not require intermediate posts and so there is a full width glass wall which gives better viewing. The panoramic structure is stronger to span the full width and is more expensive than a posted court.

LED floodlights are standard to offer a high quality light with low energy use and long life.

DOE can offer a canopy cover for your padel court either as part of the court installation or as a second phase to your project. The canopy is constructed on a steel frame which is supported on the concrete ringbeam.

A larger ringbeam is installed to support both the padel court and canopy. The canopy is designed to sit over the floodlights to give clear height to play. Canopy sides are optional and can be designed to be raised and lowered to enclose the court during inclement weather.

A DOE canopy can ensure that your court is playable in almost every type of weather.

DOE partner with Clubspark and CIA Fire and Security to install a SmartAccess system. This provides a flexible, reliable system which manages access to your courts and controls floodlights. The hardware is used in over 100 venues in the UK, has proven reliable and is easy for players.

DOE have a specialist maintenance division who look after sports facilities around the UK. We can maintain your padel court whether we originally installed it or not. Regular maintenance and inspections are vital to ensure your padel court is safe to use and continues to perform at a high level.

Our services include carpet maintenance and replacement, glass cleaning, fungicide and moss treatments and checking of fixings and fittings to ensure the long life of your court.

Maintenance can be carried out on a ‘one-off’ basis or under a regular contract delivered by our experienced operatives.

DOE can advise on software systems to manage your courts, collect payments and control bookings. We work with Game4Padel and Clubspark to provide a cloud based padel specific platform to get the most out of your new padel facility.

There are many options to choose from to make your court unique to your venue. With choice of carpet specification, lights, branding, steel and carpet colours and design features that allow you to personalise your court. DOE can also include club colours or sponsor details to generate income from your new facility.
