| Clissold Park Junior Tennis Club is the winner of the 'DOE BEST BRITISH CLUB' competition held for the first time in 2002. They scooped the award in an extremely tight final just stealing a lead over Ivybridge Tennis Club in the 'fifth set'.
The other regional finalists were the Craiglockhart Centre, Hunsdon Tennis Club and Woodfield Grove Tennis Club.
The presentation to Clissold is due to take place on 26 April after demonstration matches by some of their leading juniors. More information about the Club, their achievements since their formation just 3 years ago and photos will be posted after the presentation.
